Have you ever tried to make restaurant style cheesy nachos at home just to get rubbery or dried out chips? Instead, you can make a nacho dip recipe where you dip the tortilla chips into the nacho dip after it’s been assembled and cooked. That’s what I’ve done with my Quick & Easy Nacho Dip recipe!

Even better, I’ve put it in a skillet for easy serving at the table for a no guilt meal since it’s made with lean ground turkey, beans, diced tomatoes, and nutritious beans. Assuming your kids are old enough not to burn themselves, place the skillet on a pot holder in the middle of the table next to the bag of tortilla chips. Then everyone can spoon some Quick & Easy Nacho Dip on to their plates and pass a bag or bowl of tortilla chips around. No need to get up for second helpings, making it a relaxing and fun meal.

Serving the Quick & Easy Nacho Dip in a skillet makes a sensational party center piece! Friends and family can spoon out a helping along with a handful or two of tortilla chips.

Making this easy nacho dip recipe takes less than 20 minutes!

What I love about cooking up Quick & Easy Nacho Dip is that it takes no time at all. I find that browning lean ground turkey takes less time than lean ground beef, which is why I use it. It’s also about half the cost, too! What takes most of the time in making this nacho dip recipe is actually opening the cans of beans, and draining and rinsing them!

Melting the Sargento® Fine Cut Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican cheese takes no time at all – 5 minutes max in a 250 degrees oven. That’s because it’s super fresh and finely shredded – much better than I could do by hand.

I also love how the Sargento® Fine Cut Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican cheese, which is made up of Monterey Jack, mild Cheddar, Queso Quesadilla, and Asadero cheese, adds that authentic Mexican restaurant flare to my Quick & Easy Nacho Dip recipe. It’s a cheese blend we always keep in the refrigerator.

You can find Sargento® Fine Cut Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican cheese hanging in the refrigerated section of your Kroger store.

Not all store bought taco seasoning is gluten free or dairy free, so check the label! Or make your own homemade taco seasoning, which is cheaper and tastier, too!

Make sure your skillet is oven safe for this skillet nacho dip recipe! If yours isn’t, transfer the ground turkey and beans mixture to an oven safe casserole dish. Then cover the mixture with cheese before placing it in the oven.

If you don’t like ground turkey, lean ground beef is OK to use in this easy cheesy nacho dip recipe.

You can easily make this Quick & Easy Nacho Dip recipe vegetarian. Just omit the ground turkey. Then substitute the turkey with another can of beans (your choice) or cook up some tofu crumbles.

Don’t worry about using the same type of beans as listed in the recipe. Black beans, red beans, pinto beans, and even garbanzo beans would all be terrific in this skillet nacho dip!

I like serving a variety of tortilla chips with this easy cheesy nacho dip – blue chips, yellow and white corn chips, and even sweet potato tortilla chips. Check out the health food as well as the chip aisles of your Kroger store for fun new tortilla chips colors and shapes.

Make Quick & Easy Nacho Dip on the mild side. You may love your nachos hot and spicy, but your guests or family members may not. Instead, place your favorite bottles of hot sauce on the table so everyone can turn it up a notch.

Leftover nacho cheese dip can be reheated and put into tacos or burritos. Add more Sargento® Fine Cut Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican cheese, sliced avocado, some cilantro, and chopped lettuce or other vegetables. Yum!
