Pumpkin Bread
This is a wonderful, flavorful smooth pumpkin bread that tastes great and will make your kitchen smell wonderful with all the great spices! Ingredients
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 7½ ounces pumpkin puree
- 1½ cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ tablespoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/3 cup water
Directions
- Mix sugar and oil in mixer at low speed. Add eggs and pumpkin puree and blend until fully incorporated.
- Sift flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and spices together. Add in three to four stages to pumpkin mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Add water, mixing at low speed.
- Place batter in two greased loaf pans and bake at 350 degree for 45 minutes (or convection bake at 330 degrees for 40 minutes.
