Porterhouse Pork Chops With Caramelized Onions And Pecans
Ingredients
- 2 x Pork Chops, Porterhouse style
- 1/4 c. Pecans, coarsely minced
- 3 Tbsp. Butter,
- 1 x Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar,
- 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce,
- 1/4 c. Balsamic vinegar,
Directions
- Broil or possibly grill pork chops to desired doneness. Place pecans in a large skillet over medium heat; stir till dark and fragrant, 1-2 min. Remove pecans and reserve. Heat butter in same skillet; add in onion and saute/fry till golden. Add in brown sugar and soy sauce; stir 1 minute. Add in pecans and vinegar; stir 1 minute. Serve onion mix over warm pork chops.
