Polish Turkey Sausage With Cabbage &Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 pound turkey sausage, cut into 2 inch pcs
- 1 can chicken broth/stock
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 med. head cabbage, minced coarse
- 3 to 4 sweet potatoes, cut in 2 inch pcs
- 1 apple, peel, core & dice
- 2 T prepared mustard
Directions
- Brown sausage in a little oil. Remove from pan and set aside. Add in onion and cabbage to Dutch oven. Cook and stir over medium heat 3 to 4 min. Add in chicken broth/stock, sweet potato, apple, mustard and sausage. Mix gently and cook over low heat till potatoes are tender, approximately 30 min. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
