POHA VEGETABLE UPMA

- • 250 gms poha (Aval)
- • 2 tbspn Cooking Oil
- • 1 tsp mustard seeds
- • 1 tbspn Urad dhal
- • 5-6 curry leaves
- • 1/2 tbspn Cumin seed
- • 1 green chilly Chopped
- • 1/2tbspn Chili powder
- • 1 medium onion chopped fine
- • 1 potato chopped
- • Boiled Peas
- • 2 Grated Carrot
- • Pinch Of Asafoetida
- • 2 pinch of turmeric powder
- • Salt to taste
Directions
- NOTE : Soak poha in a water for 1 min if the poha is too thick soak it for 5 mins. Wash poha and drain the water.
- Preparation:
- ⢠Heat the oil in a nonstick pan on a medium flame and add the mustard seeds, urad dhal,cumin and curry leaves,Fry till the spluttering stops
- ⢠Add the onion. Fry till soft and add greenchillies,chillipowder , turmeric powder,asafoetida and salt stir well.
- ⢠add the chopped potatoes cook for few minutes then add boiled peas stir well
- ⢠Now add poha Mix well fry for 2- 4 mins and add the grated carrot stir well to blend all ingredients.
- ⢠Keep it in a low flame for 2- 3 mins and remove from flame
- ⢠Garnish with coriander leaves..
