  • Peking Style Pork Chops (Crockpot or oven)

    Wonderful way to fix pork, steak, or chicken!!

    Ingredients

    • 6 pork chops, about 1-in. thick - or meat of your choice
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. ground ginger
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 1 - 2 cloves garlic, mashed
    • salt & pepper, to taste
    • I have used pork loin, chicken breast, steak and its great on all !
    • 1/2 stick of butter

    Directions

    1. Trim excess fat from pork chops.
    2. Place butter and pork chops in crockpot.
    3. I have also baked these in a 375 degree oven
    4. Combine brown sugar, ground ginger, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, salt & pepper.
    5. Pour mixture over meat in crockpot.
    6. Cook, covered, on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until tender.
    7. Season with: salt & pepper (optional)
    8. Serve with: steamed white rice (we like jasmine rice) and/or Chinese noodles also rameon noodles works well
