    My grandmother's cake recipe. It is a very basic white cake, but it is really good and we use it a lot for cakes with chocolate frosting, whipped toping, or strawberries. A good cake for decorating.

    Ingredients

    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup of vegetable oil
    • 1 cup of milk
    • 1 cup sugar
    • tsp vanilla
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2 cups flour
    • 4 tsp of baking powder

    Directions

    1. In a blender mix eggs, oil, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
    2. Once it everything has been successfully blended, pour the liquid mixture to a bowl with the flour and baking powder.
    3. Mix well to proof, and transfer the batter to your desired cake pan which has been greased and floured.
    4. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.
