Parmesan Chops
This is a savory pork chop recipe with a Italian twist. Ingredients
- 6 Pork Chops
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups pretzel sticks (crushed)
- 1 1/2 cups saltine crackers (crushed)
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- dash of cumin
- dash of pepper
- mozzarella cheese (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C)
- In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Dip the chops in the melted butter and then in the dry mixture, coating all sides. Let them sit for about 10 minutes, then repeat process to give them a little more crunch. Place chops in a 9x13 in baking dish.
- Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 45 to 55 minutes, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Top with mozzarella cheese and allow to melt.
