Pancit Canton
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Shrimp, peeled
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 x Eggwhite
- 1 x Chicken breast, sliced
- 2 x Cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 x Onion, minced
- 1/4 c. Pork or possibly kielbasa, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 1/2 c. Chicken broth
- 1 x Carrot, strips
- 1/2 head cauliflower, flowerettes
- 4 x Cabbage leaves, shredded
- 1/4 c. Snow peas
Directions
- Coat shrimp and chicken with cornstarch/eggwhite. Saute/fry garlic, onion, pork, chicken and shrimp. Add in soy sauce. Pour broth in and bring to boil.
- Then add in vegetables. Thicken with cornstarch . Stir in dry canton noodles and cook 10 min.
- NOTES : I add in any veggie or possibly meat which I have on hand. I also add in some broken up fried egg. The noodles will soak up much of the liquid. This dish should be a bit on the dry side.
