Pak Choy/Bok Choy
Most people around the world who love eating Chinese food is accustomed to this humble vegetable that can be stir-fried or steamed and topped with oyster sauce and condiments. It is simple to make and goes well with steamed plain rice. Ingredients
- 2 bundles of Pak Choy
- 3 cloves of garlic - slivered
- Oyster Sauce - according to taste
- Salt - to blanch
- Oil
- 1 red chilly (optional) - finely chopped
- Fried onions as garnish (optional)
Directions
- Peel and wash the pak choy and blanch in hot salted water and set aside.
- In a hot wok, heat little oil and fry the garlic and chillies and add oyster sauce and some water.
- Let it boil and turn off gas and pour over the pak choy and garnish with fried onions.
- Serve hot with plain rice and enjoy!
