Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream

Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream is a dreamy summer treat that beats all store bought ice creams. If you are a fan of oreo sandwich cookies, try them in ice cream. You will be hooked! You won’t want to buy any packaged ice cream this summer once you make this easy peasy vanilla ice cream with chunks of oreo cookies.
The first ice cream I made at home was easy Eggless Strawberry Ice Cream and seeing how it makes me feel great, I’ve tried several ice cream recipes since then. Either with an ice cream maker or without it. I know not everyone has that machine. (Well, friends find it so cool when they learn that I have an ice cream maker as it is not something very usual here.) I sometimes feel lazy when it comes to the cleaning part, so I prefer no-churn ice cream recipes even though I have one. Whatever the reason is, if you need to make ice cream without an ice cream maker, you can use the ultimate no-churn method I share in Elastic Turkish Ice Cream recipe. No matter what ingredients are used, you can use this method and have the same result. So just ignore the churning step in the instruction part of any ice cream recipe you want to try and follow the method I explained in that post.
My all time favorite ice cream is Creamy Lemon Ice Cream, but I do love to try new combinations like Mint Ice Cream, which is as refreshing. The lovely yellow and green colors of these two, which are completely natural are so attractive. I’m mostly on the fruit side when it comes to ice cream just because I find them more refreshing, but I can never refuse a good Chocolate Ice Cream, either. And who can say no to anything that contains oreo cookies? Believe me this Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream is not an exception.
Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream is actually a mixture of an easy vanilla ice cream and roughly crumbled oreo cookies. I like to feel the chunks of cookies in the ice cream so I don’t blend them to make tiny pieces. I simply crumble them in my hand instead.
And what I like about this Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream is that it’s eggless. I’m not against using eggs in ice cream, but things get easier for me when there is no egg in the recipe. No egg, no mess!

Oreo Vanilla Ice Cream
Very easy vanilla ice cream with loads of crumbled oreos. This is an eggless ice cream and you need only five ingredients.

Whisk together milk and sugar in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
Add in heavy cream and vanilla.
Transfer into your ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Stir in the crumbled oreos and wait in the freezer in an airtight container for 2-3 hours.
