Orange Cream Sauce For Berries Or Poached Pears
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. Grated orange rind
- 1 x Lemon, juice of
- 1/4 c. Castor sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 x Egg well beaten
- 150 gm Cream, whipped
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients except the cream and cook over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon till the mix coats the back of the spoon. Allow to cold thoroughly then fold in the beaten cream.
