NUT BURGERS IN GRAVY ROYALE
"WALNUTS, QUICK ROLLED OATS & CELERY ARE THE COMBINATION THAT MAKES THE FLAVOR OF THESE BURGERS BROWNED IN OIL. NEED TO ALLOW FOR 1 HOUR OF STANDING TIME BEFORE ADDING SAUTEED' VEGETABLES AND FORMING BURGERS. THEN CAN BE BAKED IN A FAVORITE GRAVY FOR 30 MINUTES. Note: EVAPORATED MILK SUBSTITUTE -MAKE YOUR OWN: 2/3 CUP ORGANIC NON-FAT DRY MILK POWDER 3/4 CUP WATER MIX WATER & MILK POWDER TOGETHER& USE AS NEEDED. Ingredients
- 3 ORGANIC EGGS, BEATEN
- 12 OZ. CAN ORGANIC EVAPORATED MILK OR 1 CUP (Note: See Above recipe for Evaporated Milk Substitute-MAKE YOUR OWN)
- 2 CUPS ORGANIC ROLLED OATS
- 1 CUP ORGANIC WALNUTS, CHOPPED FINE
- 1-1/2 TEASPOONS SALT
- 1/2 TEASPOON ORGANIC SAGE
- 2 TABLESPOONS ORGANIC OLIVE OIL
- 2 ORGANIC CLOVES GARLIC, PRESSED
- 1/2 CUP ORGANIC ONION, PRESSED IN GARLIC PRESS
- 1-1/2 CUPS ORGANIC CELERY, MINCED FINE
- 1 CUP BREAD CRUMBS
- 1 TABLESPOON GROUND FLAX SEED
Directions
- BEAT EGGS, ADD EVAPORATED MILK, OATS, WALNUTS, SALT, SAGE, AND LET STAND FOR ONE HOUR.
- SAUTE' GARLIC, ONION, CELERY IN THE OIL.
- ADDING THE BREAD CRUMBS & FLAX SEED HELPS BURGERS TO HOLD TOGETHER.
- 3. ADD SAUTEED' VEGETABLES, MIX IN NINJA BOWL
- FORM INTO SMALL BALLS AND FLATTEN SLIGHTLY TO MAKE BURGERS.
- FRY OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL NICELY BROWNED ON EACH SIDE.
- COVER WITH 2 CUPS OF YOUR FAVORITE BROWN GRAVY AND BAKE AT 375 DEGREES F. ABOUT 1/2 HOUR OR UNTIL BUBBLY.
