  • No Bake Cherry Balls

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 c. Confectioners' sugar
    • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
    • 1 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 1 1/2 c. Shredded coconut
    • 30 x Red and green maraschino cherries with stems
    •     Finely crushed graham cracker crumbs

    Directions

    1. In a mixing bowl, blend together sugar, butter, lowfat milk, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in coconut. Refrigeratefor 1 hour. Meanwhile, drain cherries on paper towels. Shape about 1 tablespoonful of coconut mix around each cherry, leaving stem and end exposed. Dip bottom 2/3 of cherry ball in graham cracker crumbs. Chill or possibly freeze till serving.
    2. Yield: about 21/2 dozen
