Today I visited local Mexican grocery store and found many great ingredients. When I saw young garbanzo beans in its own husk that remind me of as kids when we eat as afternoon snack in a bundle of some kind of beans branches boil in salty water. I am so glad I brought some home as well as others items for next recipe. Young garbanzo beans are taste like green peas when cooked but has sweeter note with more meat. They taste great and I can’t stop eating them. Make a note to myself I got to buy more of these. . . . . . You should try some when you find them. I cooked young garbanzo beans in boil salty water for about 15 to 20 minutes for 6 cups of young garbanzo beans. It’s so easy no need for recipe but just in case someone needs it here it is

    • 6 cup young garbanzo beans
    • 2.5 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp sugar
    • 1.5 quart of water
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Boil water in high heat; add salt, sugar and garbanzo beans for 20 minutes. Take out young garbanzo beans with strainer in a dish and then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Ready to serve in room temperature or warm; either way sure to goes out quickly.
