Mom's Peach Pie
Ingredients
- Pastry for 2 crust pie
- 5 c. sliced peaches
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Dash salt
- 2 tbsp. flour
Directions
- Sprinkle 2 tsp. lemon juice over peaches. Mix sugar, spices and flour, then stir into peaches. Pour into 9 inch pie shell. Dot with 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter before covering with top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min, then 350 degrees for 30 min or possibly till nicely browned.
