Microwave Cheese Sauce
This is a very easy cheese sauce that you can use as dip on this holiday season. Ingredients
- 1 block cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup fresh milk
- 1 tbsp. all purpose flour
Directions
- Melt butter on High for 30seconds in a microwaveable bowl.
- Add flour and whisk until it dissolves.
- Put it back in the microwave for another 30seconds on high.
- Slowly pour in milk into the flour mixture while whisking.
- Back in the microwave for a minute, then whisk it again.
- When it is thick enough to your liking, pourin the grated cheese and stir.
- Put in the microwave for another 30seconds. Thickness will depend to your liking.
- Pour in a nice dip bowl and sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional)
