    Ingredients

    • 1 (6 ounce) pkg. Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    • 1/2 c. minced nuts
    • 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/3 c. butter, melted
    • 2 c. flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 c. butter (butter)
    • 1 1/2 c. sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
    • 1 c. heavy cream

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and wax paper bottoms of 2 (9 inch) layer cake pans. Heat 1/3 cup chocolate morsels. Put together graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir in minced nuts and remaining chocolate morsels. Mix well and set aside.Cream butter and sugar; add in large eggs and beat till smooth. Blend in melted morsels and vanilla with sour lowfat milk. Sift flour, baking soda and salt; mix thoroughly. Pour into 2 layer pans and sprinkle with crumb mix.
    2. Bake 30 to 40 min at 375 degrees. When cool, remove from pan and ice with heavy cream whipped with 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar. Spread the cream icing on the bottom layer, 1 inch around the edge of the top layer and on the outer sides of the layer. Or possibly you can use your favorite chocolate icing.
