  • Mediterranian Spice Mix for Meats

    Ingredients

    • 1 T Cardamon
    • 1 T Cinnamon
    • 1 T Coriander
    • 1 T Garlic powder
    • 1 T Onion powder
    • 1 T Pepper
    • 1 T Poultry Seasoning
    • 1 T Ground Cloves
    • 1 T Parsley Flakes
    • 1 T Oregano
    • 1 T Paprika
    • 1 T Basil
    • 1 T Allspice

    Directions

    1. Mix this well in a plastic bag.
    2. Store in a spice bottle with a sprinkle top.
    3. As a simple spice addition just sprinkle liberally on meat refrigerate an hour before cooking.
    4. This spice can be used in a crockpot, rib rub, pot roast or grilling. Use any method of cooking with Lambchops, Pork, chicken or beef.

      I used it in ground pork meatballs last night and it was quite good. My husband detected cinnamon but the others were just unknown to him. With a spaghetti sauce from a jar and I cooked the pasta right in with the sauce after the Meatballs were browned. It was really good. Just add some extra water to make the angelhair pasta plump up. One skillet cooking at its best!
