Meat Balls And Cabbage
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. hamburger meat
- 1 pound sausage
- 2 lg. onions
- 3 Large eggs (1 egg for each pound of meat)
- 1 pkg. (individual wrapped) crackers, crushed fine
- 1 1/2 ounce. chili pwdr
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Mix all the above ingredients and roll into balls. 2 pts. tomato juice
- In large pan layer cabbage (or possibly wrapped meatballs in leaf). Add in tomato juice and sufficient water to keep it from burning Cook slowly for about 1 hour.
