  • Marinated Eye Round Steaks

    Ingredients

    • 1 can Swanson Beef Broth - (14 1/2 ounce)
    • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
    • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
    • 6 pcs beef eye of round steaks, 3/4" thick (abt 1 1/2 lbs)

    Directions

    1. Mix broth, lemon juice, soy, garlic pwdr and pepper in large shallow nonmetallic dish. Add in steaks and turn to coat. Cover and chill 1 hour, turning steaks occasionally.
    2. Remove steaks from marinade and place on lightly oiled grill rack over medium-warm coals. Grill uncovered to desired doneness (allow 15 min for medium), turning once and brushing often with marinade.
    3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
    4. Variation: Prepare as in step 1. Remove steaks from marinade and place on rack in broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat to desired doneness (allow 15 min for medium), turning once and brushing often with marinade.
