Maple Pecan Burbon Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. bourbon
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1 1/2 c. salted pecan halves, toasted, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1-1/2 teaspoon of water
Directions
- Combine bourbon and maple syrup in heavy sauce pan and reduce by half on medium high heat.
- Add in heavy cream and reduce by half one more time.
- Add in the cornstarch & water combination to the simmering liquid.
- Stir constantly till it thickens.
- Add in pecans and stir. Keep hot and serve over pork.
- Makes 2 c. of sauce.
