  • Low Fat Cream Cheese Spread

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. Fat Free Ricotta Cheese
    • 3 ounce Fat Free Cream Cheese
    • 1/4 c. Nonfat Yogurt
    • 2 x Cloves Roasted Garlic*
    • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Chives, Minced
    • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Basil, Minced**
    • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Parsley, Minced
    • 1/8 tsp Salt
    • 1/8 tsp Grnd Black Pepper
    • 8 slc Whole Grain Bread, Or possibly Bagels Shredded Lettuce Shredded Fresh Spinach Spicy Sprouts Red And Green Bell Peppers, Sliced In Rings Red Or possibly/And White Onions, Sliced In Rings Tomato, Sliced

    Directions

    1. In a bowl mix together the cheeses, yogurt, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper till smooth. Spread mix on 4 slices of bread or possibly bagels. Top with sliced vegetables and remaining bread.
    2. *Original recipe calls for 1 clove of garlic, crushed.** 1 tsp. dry basil can be substituted for fresh.
