London Broil Appetizer
Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, scored
- 1 c. rose wine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Rosemary leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Place steak in shallow glass dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour on meat. Cover; chill several hrs, turning meat occasionally.
- Set oven to broil or possibly 550 degrees. Remove steak from marinade. Broil 2-3 inches from heat for 4 min. Turn; broil for 3-4 min longer.
- Cut meat at an angel across grain into thin slices. If you like, salt before serving. Serve on thin rounds of rye or possibly French bread.
