Little House Vinegar Pie
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 2 x Egg
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Sugar brown
- 1/4 c. Flour
- 1 x Nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
- 1 x 9" pie shell unbaked
Directions
- Prepare pie paste and line the buttered pie pan. Preheat the oven to 400. Heat butter in tin c.; beat Large eggs in small bowl. In large bowl blend both sugars, flour, and nutmeg with fingers till no lumps remain. Stir in vinegar, Large eggs, butter and 1 c. of water till well mixed. Pour into pie shell and bake at 400 for 30 min. Remove and cold till the filling is hard sufficient for cutting.
