Linguine Gamberini (Garlic Shrimp Sauce)
Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp deveined, peeled
- 3 x Cloves Garlic finely chopped
- 1 x Onion finely minced
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 1/2 c. Marsala Wine I used Chardonney
- 1 c. Low Sodium Chicken Broth low fat
- 1/2 c. Italian parsley chopped Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb Linguini homemade
Directions
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet. Add in garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
- Add in onion and cook till transparent, stirring occasionally. Add in flour and stir till well mixed. Whisk in the broth, wine and parsley. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of min, stirring constantly. Lower heat to medium and add in shrimp; cook till shrimp are just pink and done. Serve over pasta, cooked (according to package directions - if store bought).
