Light Peaches And Cream Pie
Ingredients
- 1 x 9 inch pie shell deep dish unbaked
- 3 c. peaches * see note
- 3/4 c. plus 1/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 x egg beaten
- 2 x egg whites beaten
- 1/2 c. nonfat lowfat sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. margarine low-calorie
Directions
- * Peel, pit and chop peaches.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Into pie shell, spoon peaches. In small bowl, combine 3/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour and salt. add in egg, egg whites and lowfat sour cream, stirring till blended. Spoon this mix over peaches. In another bowl, combine 1/3 c. sugar and remaining flour.
- With pastry blender or possibly two knives, cut in margarine till mix is like coarse meal. Sprinkle mix proportionately over pie. Bake 1 hour or possibly till golden. Serve hot.
