Lemon Tarragon Chicken With Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 lb frzn boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. chicken stock
- 1 tsp dry tarragon
- 1 pkt frzn asparagus (or possibly fresh asparagus, partially cooked)
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. heavy or possibly whipping cream Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Directions
- Put frzn chicken breasts in crock pot and add in lemon juice, broth, and tarragon. Cook on LOW 6 hrs.
- Add in asparagus; whisk cream and flour together and add in. Cook another hour on HIGH or possibly till asparagus is tender and sauce is thickened.
- Serve over noodles or possibly rice. Artichokes are good in this too!
