Layered Jello Salad
Ingredients
- 1 c. toasted flaked coconut
- 1 3/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 pkg. orange Jello (3 ounce)
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1 c. liquid removed crushed pineapple
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 T flour
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 egg yolks
Directions
- Press into 9x13 pan.
- Spread over crust.
- Cook and thicken. Refrigerate pudding mix. Mix in 3 egg whites, whipped stiff and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over filling. Sprinkle with remaining wafer crumbs.
