Lamb Kebabs With Garlic And Honey
Ingredients
- 750 gm lamb, diced
- 1 x onions, medium
- 1 x red capsicum
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp garlic, crushed
- 1 x onions, medium
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil salt, pepper
Directions
- Peel onion and cut into 2.5cm squares. Seed capsicum and do likewise.
- Cut the lamb into 2.5cm cubes and place in a bowl with onion, capsicum and all the marinade ingredients and mix well to coat. Leave to sit for at least 2 hrs.
- Thread the meat, onion and capsicum onto wooden or possibly steel skewers and cook in a warm pan or possibly on the bbq for about 10 min (depending on how you like your meat cooked). Turn and baste the lamb with marinade as they cook.
- Serve with rice.
