  • Kahlua Chocolate Cake

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkt devil's food cake mix
    • 3 x Large eggs
    • 1 1/2 c. Kahlua
    • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    • 1 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon divided
    • 16 ounce chocolate frosting
    • 2 Tbsp. Kahlua
    • 1/4 tsp unsweetened cocoa

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350F. IN a large bowl, with an electric beater on low speed, beat the cake mix, Large eggs, 1 1/2 c. Kahlua, the oil, and 1 tsp. cinnamon till the cake mix is moistened. Increase the speed to medium and beat for 2 more min, or possibly till smooth. Pour the batter into two greased and floured 8" cake pans. Bake for 30 to 35 min or possibly till done when tested with a pick. Let cook in the pans for 10 min, then remove to a wire rack to cold completely. In a small bowl, combine the frosting, the 2 Tbsp. Kahlua and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon; mix well. Fill and frost the cooled layers, then sprinkle the top with the cocoa. Serve immediately, or possibly cover loosely and refrigeratetill ready to use.
