    Ingredients

    • Vegetable oil for frying
    • 12 x chicken wings - (abt 2 lbs)
    • 2 c. tomato juice
    • 1 c. ketchup
    • 1/3 c. distilled white vinegar
    • 2 Tbsp. sugar
    • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper or possibly to taste
    • 3 dsh Tobasco warm pepper sauce - (to 4) or possibly to taste
    • 1 c. Hellman's Real Mayonnaise
    • 1/2 c. crumbled bleu cheese - (abt 2 ounce)

    Directions

    1. Heat the oil in a deep-fat fryer according to the manufactor's instructions. Or possibly, if you're using a skillet pour in about an inch of oil and heat over medium-high heat to 370 degrees.
    2. Cut up chicken wings into three parts, throw away wing tip. Add in the chicken wings and cook them till golden and crip on both sides, about 8 min in all. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the wings to paper towels to drain off any excess oil.
    3. Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce in a large saucepan and stir over medium-high heat till the sauce begins to simmer. Reduce the heat to low and add in the chicken wings. Simmer the dish till it's warm throughout, about 10 min.
    4. To make the Bleu Cheese Dipping Sauce: Stir the mayonnaise and the bleu cheese together. Use right away or possibly refrigeratetill serving time.
