Joe's Crab Shack's Rice Pilaf
Ingredients
- 1 2/3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 x bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
- 1 1/3 c. rice
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced red bell pepper
- 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
Directions
- Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in a saucepan. Add in rice, cover and cook till rice is tender and water is absorbed, about 20 min.
- Sautee celery, onion, peppers, and garlic in butter till tender. Stir sauteed vegetables into rice. Remove bay leaf before serving.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
