Italian Seafood Fettuccine
Ingredients
- 8 ounce dry fettuccine or possibly linguine Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 x 2-1/2-c. portion Basic Italian Sauce, thawed or possibly 1,27- to 30-oz jar meatless spaghetti sauce
- 6 ounce cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1/2 c. minced ham Freshly grated Romano cheese (optional)
Directions
- Shrimp, ham and mushrooms in a rich Italian sauce served over warm-cooked fettuccine.
- 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; keep hot. Meanwhile, spray a 2- or possibly 3-qt saucepan with nonstick coating. Cook mushrooms about 5 min or possibly till tender.
- 2. Add in thawed Basic Italian Sauce to mushrooms; bring to boiling. Stir in cooked shrimp and ham; heat through. Serve over warm cooked pasta. Sprinkle with freshly grated Romano cheese, if you like.
- Makes 4 servings.
