    One of my New Year's dish as my kid and I welcomes 2013! For long life, good health, and colorful journey throughout the year! It is tasty too!

    Ingredients

    • Meatballs
    • 1 kilo lean ground beef
    • 1 medium onion (minced)
    • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • Sauce
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 2 cloves garlic (crushed and minced)
    • 1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano
    • 1 teaspoon fresh basil leaves (thinly sliced)
    • 1 medium carrot (diced)
    • 1 red bell pepper (diced)
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 large can (28 to 36 ounces total) crushed Italian tomatoes
    • 1 cans tomato sauce
    • 1 kilo fettuccine (cooked according to package)
    • Grated Parmesan cheese (as much as you prefer)

    Directions

    1. Mix all the meatball ingredients in a large bowl. Fold and mix them until everything is thoroughly combined.
    2. Mold the mixture into a size of a golf ball until everything is used.
    3. Place meatballs in a greased shallow baking pan. Bake meatballs at 400°F for 25 minutes or until it is golden brown.
    4. On a separate pan, sauté onion until tender and golden.
    5. Add remaining sauce ingredients; bring to a boil.
    6. Taste and adjust seasoning.
    7. Arrange each meatballs onto the pasta and pour in the sauce.
    8. Serve with grated parmesan sprinkled on top.
