I made these cookies tonight and they were incredibly easy as the recipe states and really tasty. I added almond slivers like in the picture and a pinch of salt. These are really tasty cookies and even though they are covered in sugar, they are not too sweet. They are a nice break from rich desserts during the holidays. You don't really taste the wine but the odor of the wine is great when they are baking.
