    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. DICED ONION
    • 2 tsp OLIVE Or possibly VEGETABLE OIL
    • 1/2 tsp GARLIC Pwdr
    • 3 c. ITALIAN TOMATOS, PUREED
    • 2 tsp BASIL LEAVES
    • 3 c. COOKED ZITA MACARONI
    • 6 ounce COOKED VEAL SAUSAGE
    • 1/2 c. PART SKIMMED RICOTTA CHEESE
    • 2 Tbsp. PARMESAN CHEESE, GRATED
    • 2 ounce MOZZARELLA CHEESE, SHREDDED

    Directions

    1. IN A 1 Qt MICROWAVABLE CASSEROLE, COMBINE ONION, OIL AND GARLIC. MICRO- WAVE ON HIGH FOR 1 MINUTE. STIR IN TOMATOES AND BASIL. COVER WITH WAXED PAPER AND MICROWAVE FOR 10 Min ON HIGH. STIR EVERY TWO Min.
    2. TRANSFER 3/4 C. OF TOMATO Mix TO A MEDIUM BOWL. Add in ZITA, SAUSAGE, RICOTTA CHEESE AND PARMESAN CHEESE. MIX WELL. SPRAY 1 Qt MICROWAVABLE CASSEROLE WITH COOKING SPRAY; SPREAD ZITA Mix Proportionately IN CASSEROLE.
    3. SPREAD WITH REMAINING TOMATO, THEN SPRINKLE WITH MOZZARELLA CHEESE.
    4. MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 5 Min.
