    Wonderful mid week meal serve with your favorite side dishes.

    Ingredients

    • One Pound Sirloin Ground Beef (90/10 fat to meat ratio)
    • 1/2 Grated Onion
    • 3/4 cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
    • One Beaten Large Egg
    • one teaspoon fresh chopped finely basil
    • one teaspoon ground oregano
    • 1/2 cup Low Sodium Beef Stock (or Beef Broth)
    • 3/4 cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese

    Directions

    1. Pre Heat Oven 375 F
    2. In a large Mixing Bowl add ground beef through oregano ingredients mixing with clean hands as you add each ingredient. Form a oblong meatloaf and place into a non stick 9x12x3 baking dish. Add beef stock (or broth) to the bottom of baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 45 minutes.
    3. Remove from oven add mozzarella cheese on top (loosely cover with aluminum foil) and place back into the oven and bake 10 additional minutes.
    4. Slice and serve. We love this served with a side of warm marinara sauce (optional).
