• Impossible Bacon And Onion Pie

    • 3 x Onions, sliced
    • 3 x Large eggs
    • 1 c. Bisquick
    • 1/4 tsp Dry savory leaves
    • 1/4 tsp Dry basil leaves
    • 1/4 tsp Dry parsley leaves
    • 1/4 c. Butter
    • 1/2 lb Bacon, fried and crumbled
    • 3/4 c. Swiss cheese, grated
    • 1 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
    • 2 tsp Worcestershire


    1. Heat oven to 400. Grease a 9" pie plate. Cook onions in butter in 10" skillet, stirring frequently, til onions are softened. Arrange half of the onions proportionately in pie plate; sprinkle with half of the bacon. Sprinkle a grated cheese over top, and then remaining onions and bacon. Place lowfat milk, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning, Large eggs and baking mix a bowl and beat for 30 seconds on high till frothy. Pour into pi plate. Bake till knife inserted in center comes out clean, about35 minutes.
    2. Notes: Added pepper to the seasonings, and placed a layer of grated cheese inbetween the first and second layers of bacon and onion.
