Hot Dog Casserole Ii
Ingredients
- 6 x warm dogs, cooked
- 9 ounce frzn peas, cooked Noodles or possibly macaroni, cooked and liquid removed
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 dsh Worcestershire sauce Cheese Whiz or possibly sharp grated cheese
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 stk butter
Directions
- Cut warm dogs into bite size pcs. In a saucepan, heat butter. Add in flour to make a roux. Slowly add in lowfat milk stirring constantly. Add in salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Heat till thick. Add in cheese to taste. Blend warm dogs, peas, noodles with cream sauce.
- Pour in buttered baking dish. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 min.
