Hot Bananas With Rum And Chocolate
Ingredients
- 4 x Ripe bananas peeled, and sliced in 1" rounds
- 2 Tbsp. Sweet butter
- 2 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 3/4 tsp Tabasco pepper sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Dark rum
- 4 scoop Vanilla ice cream - (1/4 c. ea) Chocolate flavored syrup
Directions
- In large skillet, combine butter, brown sugar, honey and Tabasco pepper sauce and cook over medium-high heat till mix sizzles. Add in bananas and toss gently, till each round is coated.
- Turn heat to high, add in rum and cook 20 seconds or possibly till mix has syrupy consistency and bananas are glazed.
- Scoop ice cream into bowls and spoon hot bananas on top. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
