• Hot And Spicy Chicken Vegetable Soup With Dumpling Topping

    • 8 c. Good chicken stock
    • 2 x Carrots, roll cut
    • 3 stalk of celery, diagonally cut
    • 1 c. Cooked rice
    • 1 tsp Jim Campbell's smoked hab pwdr
    • 2 tsp Madras curry pwdr Salt to taste
    • 1 c. Sifted all purpose flour
    • 2 tsp Baking pwdr, (single acting)
    • 1/2 tsp Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 2 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter
    • 1 x Egg
    • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
    • 1 tsp Calvin's or possibly Jim Campbell's chile pwdr
    • 2 Tbsp. Minced green onion


    1. Top with the following dumpling:Get the soup going well and when the vegetables are all nearly cooked, sift together, the flour, baking pwdr,sugar and salt. Cut in the marg or possibly butter to fine crumble. Beat egg and add in lowfat milk, then add in to the dry ingredients. Place large Tbsp. in the soup(stew) while it is simmering. Cook uncovered for 10 min, then covered for a final ten min....serve and enjoy. Try a salad of your choice, and nothing else will be needed.
