    • 1 c. Honey or possibly brown sugar
    • 2 c. Coarsely minced pecans
    • 1 c. Powdered lowfat milk, (1 3.2-oz envelope)
    • 1/2 c. Sesame seeds

    • 1 c. Vegetable oil

    • 1 c. Dry apples, coarsely chopp
    • 1 c. Dry prunes or possibly dates, pitted and minced
    • 1 c. Dark raisins

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Combine all, or possibly as many of these ingredients as you can combine, in a huge bowl. You will probably have use your hands to turn the mix over till it is thoroughly combined.
    2. Divide between 2 jelly-roll pans and toast in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Stir the ingredients well every 15 min, turning them over to be sure which nothing burns on the bottom. Remove the pans from the oven and allow the mix to stand for about 1 hour till it has cooled completely.
    3. Pack into apothecary jars, old-fashioned candy jars, or possibly other airtight containers. It keeps indefinitely-or possibly at least 8 weeks, that is quite a long time.
    4. Makes about 16 c..
