Homemade Beef Burger
Meaty and pure beef burger to fill the hungry. Ingredients
- 500g lean ground Beef
- 1 medium red onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (diced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Mix the dice onion and garlic into a bowl.
- Season well with salt and pepper then mix well with your hands until evenly combined.
- Form the meat mixture into four big equal sized burger patties.
- Rub each patty with olive oil.
- Heat a griddle pan and grill-fry the burgers for 3-4 minutes each side or until tender (alternative is on a BBQ grill).
- Serve on the toasted buns; top with red onion rings, sliced tomatoes, lettuce and ketchup. Mayonnaise is optional.
