Holly Wreaths
Taste Of Hoem - Dee Lein Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 pkg (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- Green cherries, cut into then slices
- Cinnamon red-hot candies
- Frosting and decorator gel
Directions
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese
- Add the sugar
- Blend well
- Stir in the vanilla
- Gradually beat in the flour
- Using a cookie press fitted with a star tip, form the dough into
- 2 1/2 inch wreaths onto ungreased baking sheets
- Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes or until set
- Do Not Brown
- Remove to wire racks to cool
- Decorate the wreaths with the green cherry "leaves" and the cinnamon candy "berries" attached with a drop of frosting
- Add the bows with a decorator
