  • Ham And Biscuit Skillet

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
    • 1 med size onion
    • 1 can Stewed tomatoes no-salt-adde (14.5z)
    • 10 ounce Frzn kale or possibly collard green
    • 32 ounce Can butter beans
    • 8 ounce Ham
    • 1/4 c. Ketchup (I used Durkee Red Warm Sauce as well
    • 10 ounce Can refrigerator Buttermilk biscuits

    Directions

    1. 1. Heat oven to 400.
    2. 2. Heat oil in a large skillet. Peel onion and cut in thin wedges.
    3. Cook 2 to 3 min till just tender.
    4. 3. Add in tomatoes and frzn greens. Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutesuntil greens are thawed.
    5. 4. Drain beans and cut ham in bite-sized pcs. Stir ham, beans and ketchup into skillet. Bring to a boil.
    6. 5. Remove from heat and arrange biscuits, just touching, in a ringaround edge of skillet. Bake 10 to 12 min till biscuits are golden on top and fully cooked on bottom (lift one to check).
    7. Makes 4 servings.
