Ground Beef And Vegetable Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 lrg potatoes sliced
- 2 med carrots - (to 3) sliced
- 1 can peas - (#2 size) well liquid removed
- 3 med onions sliced Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 lb grnd beef browned
- 2 x celery stalks sliced
- 1 can tomato soup - (10 ounce)
- 1 can water - (10 ounce)
Directions
- Place layers of the vegetables in the order given in crock pot. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Put the lightly browned grnd beef on top of the celery.
- Mix the tomato soup with the water and pour over the layers. Cover and set on LOW for 6 to 8 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- This recipe yields 4 to 5 servings.
