Grilled Tuna with Roasted Peppers and Anchovy -Puree
Tuna simply grilled with red pepper and anchovy parsley puree is amazing feel free to try this with other fish if tuna is not one of your favorite fish.ENJOY Ingredients
- PUREE
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 3 tbls white wine
- 2 egg yolks that have been poached in water
- 1-12 cups fresh .finely chopped parsley
- 5 anchovy fillets
- 4 garliccloves,chopped
- 2tsp capers
- 2cups olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- ROASTED PEPPERS
- 6red bell peppers
- olive oil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- TUNA
- 6 yellowfin tuna steaks { about 7 ounces each]
- olive oil
- fresh ground pepper
Directions
- In a small bowl soak bread crumbs in wine
- In a food processor combine egg yolks,parsley,anchovies,garlic and capers untill well blended
- Squeeze the wine fromthe bread crumbs and add it to the egg mixture
- Add seasonings .Let mixture stand for an hour for the great flavors to marry.
- Split peppers in half place skin side up on a broiling pan sprinkle with olive oil and garlic
- broil or grill for about 7 minutes remove and slice into small strips
- TUNA
- Brush the Tuna steaks with olive oil and season with fresh black pepper.
- Grill orBroil for 3-5 minutes on each side so the tuna is a little rare on the inside pour sauce in the center of the plates ,
- Place a steak on top and arrange a few pepper strips on the side.
- and serve with oven roasted parsley potatoes and a loaf of warm italian bread for dipping in that amazing sauce
