Grilled Tuna With Chinese Five Spice Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb Tuna steaks
- 1 1/4 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice, plus 1 tsp.
- 1/3 c. Lite soy sauce
- 1/3 c. Hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp Honey
- 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp Chinese five spice
Directions
- Marinate the tuna steaks in the sesame oil and lemon juice for 30 min.
- Prepare an outside grill with an oiled rack set 6 inches above the heat source. On a gas grill, set the heat to medium. While the tuna steaks are marinating, combine the remaining sauce ingredients and heat in a pan for 10 min over medium heat. Grill the tuna steaks for 6-7 min on each side, turning once, basting each side occasionally with the sauce.
- NOTES :Prep: 20 minutes, Marinate: 30 minutes, Cook: 15 minutes.
