Grilled Chicken With Basting Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 x garlic clove minced
- 1/2 tsp dry crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp coarsely-grnd black pepper
- 8 x bone-in chicken breast halves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
Directions
- Cook first 8 ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, till butter melts; set aside.
- Sprinkle chicken proportionately with salt and pepper.
- Grill chicken, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350 to 400 degrees) 40 to 45 min or possibly till done, turning occasionally and basting with sauce the last 10 min.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
